A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he committed his life to leadership, duty, and service. Major Kennedy was deployed multiple times in support of combat operations and was highly respected for his courage, professionalism, and care for his soldiers. He made the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan on August 8, 2012, embodying the Army values of honor, selfless service, and integrity.
