LLKK is a part of the TK Foundation that is dedicated to honoring the sacrifice of our nation’s Gold Star families by easing the burden of medical expenses. With dignity and deep gratitude, we provide financial support and resources for families who have lost a loved one in the call to duty.
Who was Kami Kennedy?
Kami Kennedy married Thomas Kennedy on May 17, 2008 and on September 3, 2010 she became the mother of Maggie and Brody.
Similar to TK, she was a lot of different things to a lot of different people. Daughter, sister, aunt, friend, Georgia Bulldogs fan, and much more. Kami was a radiant force of compassion, resilience, and unwavering support for those around her. As a dedicated advocate for healing and service, Kami channeled her strength into uplifting others - especially families who have endured profound loss. With a heart that listened deeply and a spirit that lead with empathy, she embodied grace in action. Whether walking beside Gold Star families, offering a shoulder in moments of hardship, or building bridges to brighter futures, Kami’s presence was one of comfort, courage, and quiet strength.
On June 26, 2025, she passed away after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by love and held in grace. Her life is a testament to living with intention, honoring sacrifice, and bringing light to others through love.
