TPH Academy Celebrates 2nd Annual TK Day - TPH Academy
Each year in April, corresponding with TK’s birthday, TPH Academy and the Impact Player Foundation celebrate TK Day, an annual event that seeks to honor the life and legacy of MAJ Thomas Kennedy, who was tragically killed in the line of duty in Afghanistan on August 8th, 2012. TPH Academy campuses complete a community service project for local veterans as well as attend a national virtual event co-hosted with the Kennedy family where student-athletes learn lessons of servant leadership, community service, and dedication to living a life of humility, hard work, and kindness.
A day of reflection, remembrance, and connection — honoring TK’s life and legacy on the course while raising funds to support our mission and vision. These funds are used to support our events and given back through foundations that share our values and vision.
The Army Hockey locker room was dedicated in honor of former hockey player Major Thomas "TK" Kennedy, who gave the last full measure of devotion for our country.

The Trail of the Fallen is a poignant hiking route in Bear Mountain State Park, New York, located on Popolopen Torne (also known as "The Torne"). This trail is renowned for its steep ascent and the memorial at its summit, which honors U.S. service members who have died in recent military conflicts. This includes two 400-pound memorial benches dedicated to West Point graduates Major Thomas "TK" Kennedy and First Lieutenant Daren Hidalgo.
